Good afternoooooooooon bloggers!

Well, it's been a while since I was trapped in that I.T suite back in the dreary depths of Crofton High... a place which after spending induction and enrolment day at the scary halls of terror that are the buildings that make up Pontefract New College, I wish I was going back to!

I know, I know - College is great... more freedom blah blah, more interesting courses blah blah, best days of your life blah blah blah... I just can't come around to the idea of trying to juggle 5 courses that I'm not even convinced are the right choices (before you tut at the notion of 5 A-Levels, YOU try picking just four that are a balance of what you like, what you're good at, and what universities want!), with writing for the college newsletter (It's not unecessary - if I decide that journalism is what I want to do, I'll need to come up with some proof of writing experience) and driving lessons (which in themselves could prove fatal - I have a reputation for extreme clumsiness, and my spacial awareness leaves a lot to be desired!)

What makes it worse is I just KNOW I'm not going to have enough - if any - time for my beloved friends, and consequently I shall fall by the wayside with my armfuls of folders and notebooks, waving my little "I used to be cool" flag from the sorry gutter of friendlessness.

Stupid college. It already hates me.

I will be vigilant however! College will NOT win!

I will keep up with my courses!
I will meet lots of friendly new people!
I will continue to see my friends!

I will not fall into dependancy on Red Bull!
I will not be intimidated by scary pretty clever college girls!
I will not have to say "remember me?" when I call my friends!

I will become Cat Millar - The marvel of a student who has a fantastic progress record, a glowing social life, and a whole lot of time dedicated to sleeping!

I think I'm still going to make that flag though... just in case =D
